Why So Much Pain? — God’s Presence in Suffering
Session 2 of The Questions We Ask God tackles one of the hardest and most personal questions we face: “If God is good and powerful, why does He allow so much pain?”
Through Jeremiah 29:11–14, Romans 8:18–39, and honest conversation, we explore how God meets us in suffering—not with silence, but with presence, provision, and purpose. Pain is uncomfortable, often private, and rarely something we choose. Yet Scripture shows that God uses discomfort to grow us, transform us, and draw us closer to Him.
This session reminds us that God never promised a pain‑free life, but He did promise to be with us in every season. Even when we don’t understand the “why,” we can trust His character, His plans, and the evidence of His faithfulness throughout our lives.
