Rooted Life Does Not Wither
đź“– KEY VERSE
Psalm 1:1–3
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in its season…”
🌟 MAIN IDEA
A rooted life begins with refusing the wrong influences, delighting in God’s Word, and trusting the stability God provides — because fruit only comes when we stay close to the Source.
🔥 THREE MAIN POINTS
1. Refuse the Drift
Psalm 1 warns of a dangerous progression: walking, standing, then sitting with the wrong influences.
Drifting happens slowly — through conversations, environments, and habits that pull us away from God.
Rooted people refuse the drift by guarding where they walk, who they stand with, and what they sit under.
2. Delight in the Word, Don’t Just Read It
Being rooted requires replacing the trash with truth.
Delighting in God’s Word means savoring it — taking small, consistent “sips” rather than forcing ourselves into overwhelming routines.
Meditation forms us, not just informs us.
3. Stay Planted Near the Source
God places us where we can grow.
Stability doesn’t come from perfect conditions — it comes from proximity to the Source.
Fruit appears in season, not on demand.
When we stay rooted, God produces what He wants, when He wants, through us.
