Give Me a Light
Jesus walks among His churches, not inspecting our buildings, programs, or polish — but our light. In this message, we look at the church of Ephesus and the danger of losing the fire while keeping the structure. Many churches look strong on the outside yet have quietly drifted from their first love. When the flame goes out, the candlestick starts slipping.
This sermon calls us to examine our own light — our passion, our intimacy, our worship, and our dependence on God. We explore how the fire of God guides, purifies, empowers, and protects, and why staying close to the “lampstands” (the church) is essential when life gets dark. Through Scripture, real‑life examples, and honest reflection, we learn how ego, distraction, and self‑reliance slowly dim the flame, and how God invites us to ask boldly: “Lord, would You give me a light?”
If your heart has grown cold, if your worship has become routine, or if you feel the fire slipping, this message is a call to return — to let God reignite what has gone out and restore what has been lost.
